The Cath-TechTM HEXCORDER Graphica is a microprocessor based instrument designed to record the rectifier ON and INSTANT OFF potentials along a pipeline, correlated ith distance and GPS coordinates.
The HEXCORDER Graphica has a large 43mm x 150mm display screen and can display the data in numeric or graphical form. The display shows the rectifier ON and INSTANT OFF potentials along with the distance (chainage) and GPS coordinates.
The HEXCORDER (Graphica) is equipped with a 40-key full alpha numeric keyboard to allow entry of comments and landmarks. The HEXCORDER (Graphica) has a built in menu of commonly used landmarks which can be recorded with a single keystroke.
The HEXCORDER (Graphica) has 512KBytes of non-volatile backed up memory. Additional memory up to 2MBytes can be factory installed.
HEXCORDER (Graphica) can record distance in feet or metres. Pipeline chainages can be entered from the keyboard: the HEXCORDER will automatically add or subtract from the entered chainage as the surveyor proceeds along the pipeline.
HEXCORDER (Graphica) can record the rectifier ON and INSTANT OFF potential automatically based on distance traversed or manually by pushing a button.
HEXCORDER (Graphica) can display the results of the CIPS survey in graphical form on the LCD screen allowing the operator to review the data as the survey proceeds.
