Current Projects

Presently we are completing the following major projects:

Oil and Pipeline Agency

In January 2008 we were awarded Contract OM/033; Operation and Maintenance of Cathodic Protection facilities on the UK Government Pipeline and Storage Systems (GPSS) network for the Oil and Pipeline Agency (OPA). This network of pipelines covers the whole of the UK with more than 3,000 km of high pressure fuel pipelines, some 220 Cathodic Protection systems (Impressed Current and Sacrificial Anodes) and our responsibilities include all operational monitoring, maintenance activities.

In addition we complete CIPS and DCVG surveys to the lines on a rolling cycle. All monitoring, CIPS and DCVG Data is collated is collated into the PCS software for security, reporting and analysis.

Waha Oil Company

We are completing a CIPS and DCVG Survey to 1700 km of interfield Oil, Gas and Condensate Pipelines in the Libyan Sahara desert. The scope of work covers a Close Interval Potential Survey (CIPS) and Direct Current Voltage Gradient Survey (DCVGS), for all transfer pipelines in WAHA Oilfields. CIPS and wherever required, DCVGS are to be undertaken on a selection of these lines and pipelines or portions of pipelines for DCVGS are selected based on CIPS results.

Calibration/confirmation digs are necessary to size and/or locate defects and these will be completed at client request where considered necessary and based on field reports and results.
